Visiting the Thuaree Safari Park

The park is located within the 150-hectare oak forest reserve of the Comte de La Panouse family. Sixty years ago, the owner decided that the forest could become a home for animals, not just a part of hunting traditions. There are no cages here, only open spaces where the animals feel free. A short journey into the heart of the wild. The first part of the visit is by car. Giraffes pass majestically outside the window, elephants greet us with their trunks, and hospitable rhinos greet us. Zebras, ostriches, and even bears approach the car. After the driving circle, we leave the car and go for a walk through the reserve. The park features underground tunnels from which you can observe the animals from their perspective, glass galleries featuring predators, a serpentarium, a poultry yard, a mini-farm for children, and a "Magic Island" with attractions. This is a day without screens. Children see the animals in real life, not in an app. Nearby is the Château de Thoiry, a French Renaissance castle where the Count's family lives to this day.

I'll pick you up in Paris in a comfortable, luxury Mercedes Class V minivan. The drive to the Russian Cemetery takes approximately one hour. The first part of the visit is by car. The second part is on foot through the reserve.
